Where are you located?
We do not have a storefront and all rental pick-ups conducted at Blue Box Bakery in Bothell. 

Can we try on/see the items prior to renting?
Currently, we do not have a showroom that has all of our items on display as each item is safely stored to preserve the delicate silk garments. If you would like to view or try on the items, we do require a pre-scheduled appointment and a $150 fee to cover the costs that are associated with dry cleaning and re-preserving the garments for safe storing.  

What are the Paebaek Clothes sizes options?
The Paebaek clothing are "one size fits most." The robes are meant to cover the body and we have had brides ranging in size from size 0-12, and grooms from size 30-38 that have worn the gowns comfortably. The Paebaek Robes are worn on top of the traditional Korean hanboks for the bride, or a suit for the groom.  
 
Does the Package include the traditional hanbok?
The traditional Korean Hanbok worn under the robes are not included in the cost of the packages. Limited sizes are available to rent for for an additional fee. In our experience, most brides have hanboks within the family, that they have borrowed, as they are more easily accessible and common to own than the Paebaek Robes that are more unique. They also have more size restrictions and are not as "one size" as the Paebaek outfits. 

I already have a Hanbok, why do I still need a package?
Hanboks are different from the Paebaek robes. You need both a hanbok and the Paebaek robes for a traditional wedding look. If you already own Paebaek robes, then you are welcome to book from our a la carte menu. Please keep in mind, we do not take a la carte reservations more than 3 weeks in advance.

How soon should we book?
We book on a first come first serve basis. Our first inquiry for a specific wedding date will always be given the first opportunity to book with us, if another inquiry comes in. If you are wanting to book during the busy summer months, we recommend booking as soon as possible, between 3-6 months in advance, as we are one of the only companies in the Seattle area that rent the packages in its entirety.

A la Carte bookings are taken based on availability and no more than 3 weeks in advance.

How long do I have the rental for? 
All package rentals which include delivery, set-up and rental return are schedule for a one day period. The pre-scheduled delivery and pick-up dates must take place on the same calendar day. For a la carte will call self pick up items, rentals are for a period of 48 hours from scheduled pick-up time, unless otherwise previously specified. If returns are made after the 48 hour rental period, additional rental fees will be applied. 

What if I need to change my event date or cancel? 
When we agree to be a part of your event, we have to  reserve a space for you on our calendar. Since we accomodate only one(1) rental for a specific date, our acceptance of your reservation means that we must decline others. Due to these factors, the deposit is non-refundable. 

If you would like to change your event date, based on availability, we would be happy to accommodate your request, at no additional cost, based on availability, within the calendar year, on the same day of the week as the original booking.

We plan on having an outdoor ceremony, are there any additional details I need to know?
With the nature of the set-up and the fragility of a lot of the items, we do like to recommend flat, hard surfaces for all Paebaek set-up locations. The folding screen will fall over on uneven ground or in even slightly breezy conditions, which can cause damage to other parts of the rental set-up. 

If you are however planning an outdoor Paebaek Ceremony, an additional 20% surcharge will be assessed to your rental package to cover the additional wear and tear on the rentals that naturally occur when being in the outdoors/ in sunlight. Please note, that this additional charge is separate from any charges that would be applied, if any direct damage occurs. 

What is the Damage Waiver Charge?
For all items that are rented off the a la carte menu for will call self pick-up, we charge a non-refundable 15% damage waiver charge. This covers all minor damage that may occur during the rental duration, such as minor food spills on hanboks, improper cleaning of tea pots/cups, etc. As 99% of the damage that has occurred to our rental items have occurred during a la carte rental items, this covers all the accidental items that can inevitably happen during your event, when one of our dedicated Seattle Korean Wedding staff are onsite. This charge does not however cover damage due to neglect or misuse. All broken, irreplaceable or significant damage is still subject to be charge based on our damage addendum pricing sheet listed on the contract.
